Composition

Moxifloxacin 0.5% + Difluprednate 0.05% Eye Drops

Difluprednate is considered as gold standard for inflammatory conditions Enhance penetration, bioavailibilty, safety profile, rapis local metabolism, and strong efficacy with low incidence of side effects.

Contromax®-MP Eye Drops - Indication
Dosage

Applied to affected area four times a day begining 24 hours after surgery and continue for two weeks and two times a day for 1 week.

Mechanism of Action

Moxifloxacin-broad spectrum antibiotic active against gram negative and gram positive bacteria inhibits DNA gyrase , topoisomerase enzymes necesaay for replication reulting in apoptosis.

Difluprednate 0.05% is four times well tolerated daily and is non inferior to prednisolone 1% eight times daily. Corticosteroid used as an anti-inflammatory steroidal drug used primarily in ocular surgery. It is postulated that these proteins control the biosynthesis of potent mediators of infammation such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes by inhibiting the release of their common precursor arachidonic acid.
